India’s first bus fuelled by NobleExchange flagged off

India’s first bus fuelled on Bio CNG (processed from city waste)  supplied by Venture Center’s resident incubatee NobleExchnage  was flagged off by the Hon’able Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas at the event held during Bio Energy Urja Utsav at Balewadi Stadium, Pune on 7-8 July 2017. The successful launch of “city waste – city bus” program at Pune is the first of its kind initiative outside of Sweden to be adopted at large scale customer level.

NobleExchange’s effort was well supported by Tata Motors that presented the entire range of commercial vehicles developed and certified good to fuel on Bio CNG from City Waste. One of India’s largest IT company – Infosys – also made a presentation regarding their decision & business case to shift all vehicles used for staff transport exclusively to be fuelled on Bio CNG supplied by NobleExchange.

 

Swayam Shikshan Prayog declared as winner of Equator Prize 2017 by UNDP

Venture Center graduated incubatee Swayam Shikshan Prayog has been declared as one of the 15 winners of the Equator Prize 2017 by UNDP from 806 nominations from 120 countries for its women led climate resilient agro-ecological farming model which has empowered more than 72,000 women in the Marathwada region of India.
